When I first started researching katanas, I coincidentally found this sword on my first search. The Bushū denraiki. BTW, I have never before taken the time to review a product. A real hamon on an $80 Dollar blade.

This blade cuts great, enough said. Musashi also discouraged the use of only one sword for fighting and the use of overlarge swords like nodachi because they were cumbersome and unwieldy. Initially, Musashi notes that throughout China and Japan, there are many "sword fencers" who walk around claiming they are strategists, but are, in fact, not, which may be because Musashi had defeated some such strategists, such as Arima Kihei. Came just as pictured, beautiful hamon! Shipped promptly, according to both trueswords, and the certificate that was included with the sword, it has a real hamon, and is differentially hardened (water tempered) 1060 carbon steel blade. I havent done any test cuts with it yet, so ill have to save that part of the review for another time. Definitely recommended for Collectors, Sword Enthusiasts, and for people who practice in the Dojo. It's not "Extremely sharp hand honed edge" but it is ok sharp and well made. it passed the paper cutting test with flying colors its definately worth the money, i have 0 complaints about this product, and if your wondering if its going to be as good as the description says then stop worrying because its an exelent buy.
