I think a common mistake is Nasus players thinking their stacks are worth more than gold/experience. I honestly feel, in a vacuum that does not involve junglers, there is no champion that I cannot at least farm and not feed. Once you start the long road of learning you will figure out cheesy rune and summoner spell combinations to survive any lane, and if you can successfully survive early, you will be able to put up a fight later because that's just what Nasus does.
